Drone filming in Derry, Strabane and across Northern Ireland.
Hookline started with a drone, and aerial work is still at the heart of what we do. We film properties, venues, events and brand films from the air - CAA-registered, fully insured, and edited in-house so the footage arrives ready to use.

Aerial video with a job to do
A drone shot is only worth it if it tells the viewer something they couldn't see from the ground. We plan every flight around what the footage needs to show.
Property & estates
Homes, land and commercial sites shown in context - the setting, the scale and the approach, not just the front door.
Venues & locations
Hotels, castles, attractions and outdoor spaces. Sweeping reveals that make people want to visit.
Events
Aerial coverage that captures the size and atmosphere of a crowd, a festival or a community day.
Brand films
Drone shots built into a wider film alongside ground footage and interviews, so the aerial work serves the story.

Drone filming FAQs
Do you need permission to fly a drone at my location?
Conor is registered with the UK Civil Aviation Authority and plans every flight to current rules. Some places, such as areas near airports, need extra checks or permission. We look at your location when we scope the job and tell you early if anything affects the shoot.
Are you insured for drone work?
Yes. We carry drone insurance, plus public liability and professional indemnity insurance for the studio.
Where do you film?
We're based in Derry and Strabane and film across Northern Ireland and Ireland.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Drones can't fly safely in heavy rain or strong wind. If conditions aren't right on the day, we agree a new date with you rather than compromise the footage.
How much does drone filming cost?
It depends on the location, how much footage you need and whether it's part of a bigger video. Send a short project brief and we'll talk it through on a quick call, then send you a quote.
Can drone footage be combined with filming on the ground?
Yes, and it usually works best that way. Most of our video production projects mix aerial shots with ground footage and interviews.
