Hookline Content
Most content fails for reasons no camera can fix.
We make video content for brands, businesses and creators across Northern Ireland and beyond. Our work isn't built to fill feeds - it's built to do a job. Earn the stop. Tell the story. Move the right people.
Based in Derry & Strabane, working anywhere the brief takes us.
Standing out online isn't a camera problem
There's effort and there's execution, sure. But more often, it's the thinking that's off. The work is good. The frame is wrong.
You've got something worth sharing - a message, a story, a launch, a moment that matters. The problem isn't that the work isn't good. It's that good work, framed badly, doesn't travel.
We make content that's built to earn the stop, not just fill the feed. Content with a job to do.
Five kinds of work, one way of thinking
We stay focused on the formats we do well, rather than trying to be everything to everyone. Each one is shaped around what it needs to do - not just what it'll look like.
Brand films & stories
Story-led films that explain who you are and what you do, properly. Founder films, brand pieces, longer-form work for websites, launches and campaigns.
Short-form social
Reels, vertical cuts, campaign social. Built for retention, not just for posting - hooks that earn the stop, beats that hold attention, endings that point somewhere.
Interviews & podcasts
Multi-camera interviews, podcast video, talking-head sets. The trust-building format - calm, well-lit, with audio that actually sounds like it costs what you paid for it.
Cinematic features
Vehicle and product cinematography, location films, and the kind of considered visuals that make a brand look like a brand - not a content account.
Drone & aerial
Hookline started with a drone, and aerial work is still at the heart of what we do. Cinematic drone footage for brand films, sweeping property and location reveals, landscape and travel pieces, and the kind of perspective only an aerial shot can give you.
Production with a strategy behind it
Most production companies stop at looking good. Pretty footage, clean edit, deliver, done. We don't.
Every Hookline project is shaped by the same five-stage thinking we teach in The Hookline System - Attention, Clarity, Consistency, Conversion, Distribution. Before we shoot anything, we ask what the content is for, who it's speaking to, what action it needs to drive, and how it'll travel.
The result is content that works on its own terms - not just visually, but as a piece of a system that's doing a job.
See how the Hookline System worksFrom brief to delivery
Every project starts with a conversation - what you're trying to achieve, who you're speaking to, what a good result looks like. From there, the plan, the shoot and the edit all answer back to that brief.
A small studio. Real people.
We're Conor and Catherine - a brother-and-sister creative team based in Derry and Strabane, Northern Ireland.
Hookline Syndicate started with a drone, a few ideas, and a lot of excitement about making things together. It grew into a studio with two clear sides: client work made under Hookline Content, and a strategic content system - the methodology behind all of it - made into a public ecosystem under The Hookline System.
The two sides feed each other. Everything we teach in the System is something we've used in client work. Everything we make under Content is shaped by the same thinking we teach.
Real people. Real stories. Real results.
